‘The Changing Rooms’ at Sudley is a wellbeing hub and community activities space, converted from a derelict and disused building that was formerly sports changing-rooms. The project was funded under ‘Power to Change’, and EBC provided pro-bono structural consultancy services for this important local scheme.
The income from the Changing Rooms supports the work of Growing Sudley. The architects Harrison Stringfellow fully engaged the local community, and they specified natural retrofit materials, creating a truly sustainable local resource that breathes life back into a forgotten corner of the Sudley Estate.
